Essential Job Responsibilities
- Aid in the creation, enhancement, and maintenance of web applications.
- JavaScript / CSS / HTML coding and code review.
- Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and data scientists to build holistic user experiences.
- Define and interact with REST based API’s.
- Troubleshoot customer reported issues in applications and provide support.
- Write unit tests and conduct quality assurance testing.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- A U.S. Government security clearance is not required on the first day, but will be processed for one; U.S. citizenship required.
- 0 years of experience with front end software development/engineering and a Bachelors in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience.
- Knowledge or experience with JavaScript and one or more web application frameworks (ie: Vue / React / Angular / Backbone) or similar demonstrated competency.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control software.
- Comfortable working on a *nix command line.
- Self-motivation; Ability to multi-task and prioritize open issues / tickets accordingly.
- Problem solving skills and ability to review information and compile data appropriately as needed.
- Ability to obtain a DoD 8140 / 8570 compliance certification (i.e. Security+) within 60 days of hire.
- Must be able to work in a hybrid environment, spending an average of 1-2 days per week at our Columbia, MD office. Flexibility is essential to adapt to schedule changes as needed.
Preferred Requirements
- Previous experience with BDP is a plus.
- DoD 8140 / 8570 compliance certifications may be required in this position as directed by the customer.
Pay & Schedule
Anticipated Salary Range: $75,850.00 - $100,000.00. The salary range for this role is intended as a good faith estimate based on the role's location, expectations, and responsibilities. When extending an offer, Enlighten takes a variety of factors into consideration which include, but are not limited to, the role's function, internal equity and a candidate's education or training, work experience, certifications and key skills. Occasionally positions/roles may include additional non-recurrent compensation and will be addressed by the recruiter during the interview process.
