Responsibilities
- Applied teaching of 7 students weekly.
- Weekly horn studio class and additional group lessons focused on injury prevention and stamina-building exercises.
- Bronze Literature, co-taught with other brass faculty (spring only).
- Service on graduate horn studio committees.
- Department service.
Requirements
- Must have a Bachelor of Music and at least ten years of professional symphony experience at the level of Associate Principal/Third Horn or higher.
- Experience teaching applied horn lessons at a university.
Qualifications
- Teaching expertise in brass pedagogy, orchestral performance, orchestral repertoire, audition preparation, and injury preparation.
