About the role

The Art Supervisor (AS) is an active contributor to the creative team, taking full responsibility of concept and art/design development across various projects ranging in complexity and scope. The AS is a direct liaison between creative and junior/mid-level account team members, focused on answering strategic and creative expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Takes full responsibility of concept and art/design development across various projects ranging in complexity and scope.
  • Directs and elevates art/design across the team, adding value wherever possible.
  • Provides constructive feedback to more junior-level creatives, advancing the creative from both a copy and art standpoint.
  • Possesses strong conceptual skills with the ability to bring a wide range of creative solutions to every project.
  • Leads art direction across projects ranging in scope, complexity, and channel to create a cohesive brand experience that meets/exceeds expectations.
  • Estimates individual hours (for oneself and direct reports) for a variety of different projects.
  • Uses advanced design principals to distill complex scientific information and turn it into compelling, clear data visualizations for our brands.
  • Understands the importance of utilization and works hard to hit targets for themselves and direct reports.
  • Masters file-building/management best practices and The One Intouch Process.
  • Understands the importance of accessibility best practices and a commitment to apply them to our work.
  • Mentors and grows junior team members, elevating their designs and expanding their industry knowledge.
  • Grows knowledge of our clients’ business and how our work impacts the business.
  • Works in close concert with planning, UX, and development to ensure team alignment.
  • Develops strong relationships with creative, account management, product management, production, studio, and cross-functional team members.
  • Confidently presents and helps sell ideas to our clients.
  • Volunteers to contribute to new business efforts.
  • Mastery in developing multichannel creative (within portfolio) that displays strong conceptual thinking, strategic/business acumen, and finely crafted designs.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience supporting pharmaceutical clients required, with experience supporting HCP accounts preferred.
