Art Director

Our client, a leading financial services provider, is seeking an Art Director to join their team in Chicago, IL.

Responsibilities

• Design creative for a range of print and digital channels, including email, web, direct mail, display, and social media
• Brainstorm big concepts one day and tackle detail-oriented projects the next
• Collaborate with copywriters, creative directors, brand and marketing strategists, and internal marketing and line-of-business partners
• Create marketing that cuts through the noise using strategy to inform creative decisions
• Understand the importance of integrated thinking across channels, products, and audiences while staying true to the brand
• Learn from consumer insights and let them influence your work
• Push the process and mindsets of others to create great customer experiences and strengthen the brand
• Manage multiple deadlines on numerous projects happening simultaneously
• Deliver error-free work using best practices with keen attention to detail
• Listen to and incorporate feedback
• Determine when to use existing solutions or start from scratch to invest time where it matters
• Understand project goals, take direction well, and ask questions when needed
• Present work in a compelling way to create support across different audiences

Requirements

• 2+ years of design experience in a professional setting
• 1+ years of experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
• 1+ years of experience working with a prototyping software, preferably Figma

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or military experience
• Portfolio of creative work
• Experience in UX/UI or wireframing
• Experience in one or more of the following marketing areas: B2B, Experiential, Performance, or Direct Response
• Experience in the financial services industry
• Experience in photography, video work, or editing
• Prompt engineering experience
• Experience with Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere for animation and video editing

Pay

The approximate pay range for this position is between $26.00/hr and $38.00/hr. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location.
