Job Description
Germanna Community College is a public, open access institution of higher education in the Virginia Community College System. The College is a dynamic learning organization that serves as a Germanna regional leader and preferred partner where quality learning experiences enable students to participate effectively in the social, economic, political, intellectual, and cultural life of their communities. Germanna Community College is centrally located in Fredericksburg, VA between Washington D.C. and Richmond and between the Blue Ridge mountains and the Chesapeake Bay. Full of history, the area offers a community rich with diversity, the arts, technology, vineyards, hiking, canoeing/kayaking and many other activities. The Art Department at Germanna Community College is currently looking for an adjunct able to teach ART 131, 132, and 180 primarily. The department is also accepting applications for possible future openings in the field of Art.
KSA's/Required Qualifications
- Depending on the course, positions may require: Master’s Degree with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in teaching discipline; or a Bachelor’s Degree with a major in teaching field with prior related occupational experience
- Official transcripts will be required prior to final offer
- Complete Growing with Canvas and TOPS 2.2 prior to teaching

- Substantial teaching experience

- Experience with or willingness to learn artificial intelligence tools
