2026/2027 Adjunct Lecturer Art and Design
About the role
The Department of Art & Design at SUNY Brockport is accepting applications to fulfill immediate and potential upcoming adjunct faculty openings.
Job Functions
Teaches assigned courses in the Department of Art & Design. Areas of immediate need including Drawing, 2D Design, and Adobe Creative Suite applications, with a focus on Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
Engages in experiential and hands-on education when appropriate.
Produces effective course materials.
Achieves student learning outcomes.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in relevant subject area from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or university, or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Work experience in the relevant subject area; past teaching experience.
Additional Information
Work Schedule: Variable
Salary And Benefits: $5,500 stipend per 3 credit course or 3 credit course equivalent. May be benefits eligible.
