Adjunct Instructor- Art Department

Position Summary

The University of Saint Mary, a Catholic liberal arts university in Leavenworth, Kansas, invites applications for an adjunct faculty position in Art.

Responsibilities

• Classroom instruction
• Maintain effective and timely student assessment and feedback
• Manage and foster an inclusive educational environment to serve all learners
• Maintain student attendance records in accordance with university policy
• Submit final grades on time
• Demonstrate professionalism with students, faculty, staff, and administration
• Timely attendance at all required training, division meetings, and university-related meetings, as appropriate
• Complete all required training, including training on Moodle LMS

Requirements

• The successful candidate must have a Masters of Fine Art or related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Prior teaching experience is preferred
