Art Adjunct
Responsibilities
To provide online or traditional (on-campus) delivery instruction on either the Chester or Midlothian campus of the college. Courses offered in the discipline include 2-D Design, 3-D Design, Animation, Ceramics, Foundations of Drawing, Graphic Design, History of Art, Introduction to Multimedia, Painting, Portfolio and Resume Preparation, Typography, Video Techniques, and Watercolor. Special Assignments May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a master’s degree in the discipline or master’s degree in related field with 18 graduate semester hours of coursework in Art.
- Additional Considerations Prior teaching experience at the postsecondary level.
- Ability to use instructional technologies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
- Operation of a State Vehicle

Pay
Pay Range: $793-$1,693 per credit hour.
