About the role

The Armed Security Shift Supervisor oversees and coordinates the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer. They act as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coach staff on assigned shift
  • Provide recognition and discipline within approved empowerment range
  • Act as a liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers

Requirements

  • Armed Guard Card/License
  • Law Enforcement Officer License
  • Concealed Carry Weapons Permit
  • 4+ Years Military or Law Enforcement Experience or Criminal Justice Degree
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines
  • Effective writing and report preparation skills
  • Knowledge of operating procedures and instructions
  • Licenses: Armed Guard Card/License, Law Enforcement Officer License, Concealed Carry Weapons Permit, Valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record, minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy, ability to safely operate a vehicle
  • Intermediate computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
  • Ability to handle both common and crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Able to work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
  • Occasional lifting or carrying up to 40 pounds
  • Climbing stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
  • Standing or walking on various surfaces for long periods of time

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record, minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle
