Armed Security Shift Supervisor - Corporate Facility
About the role
The Armed Security Shift Supervisor oversees and coordinates the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer. They act as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coach staff on assigned shift
- Provide recognition and discipline within approved empowerment range
- Act as a liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers
Requirements
- Armed Guard Card/License
- Law Enforcement Officer License
- Concealed Carry Weapons Permit
- 4+ Years Military or Law Enforcement Experience or Criminal Justice Degree
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- At least 21 years of age
- Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines
- Effective writing and report preparation skills
- Knowledge of operating procedures and instructions
- Licenses: Armed Guard Card/License, Law Enforcement Officer License, Concealed Carry Weapons Permit, Valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record, minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy, ability to safely operate a vehicle
- Intermediate computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
- Ability to handle both common and crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Able to work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
- Occasional lifting or carrying up to 40 pounds
- Climbing stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
- Standing or walking on various surfaces for long periods of time
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- At least 21 years of age
- Valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record, minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle
