Armed Security Officer - Warehouse Part Time

This is a flexible, dependable part-time enhanced position ideal for individuals looking to supplement their income, gain hands-on experience, or work toward a full-time career with the industry leader. As an Armed Security Officer - Warehouse in San Antonio, TX, you’ll have reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts.

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours one week and full-time the next—it’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a retail grocery location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, delivery areas, and employee entrances in accordance with site-specific procedures, documenting observations and incidents accurately.
• Maintain a professional presence while supporting a welcoming retail environment and following all applicable armed post requirements, company policies, and client procedures.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Guard Card in Texas.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
