Security Officer Part Time Warehouse

As a Security Officer Part Time Patrol Specialist in Fort Wayne, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, work areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and support entry and exit procedures for employees, guests, deliveries, and/or vendors in accordance with site protocols.
• Assist with monitoring sensitive areas, equipment spaces, and high-traffic locations, while reporting maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate contacts.

Requirements

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include being at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Must be able to pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
