Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and directing authorized personnel to designated areas.
• Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain accurate access logs and communicate observations, incidents, and policy concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
