Job Description

As a Armed Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver in Waxahachie, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.   • DayTime: Thur 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM

  • Sat 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM

What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership and/or local authorities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floor areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter zones, as permitted by site requirements.
  • Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or potential loss prevention concerns, helping to deter theft, trespassing, and other unwanted behavior through visible presence and professional interaction.
  • Aid with access control, crowd management, and/or de-escalation of customer or visitor issues while maintaining professionalism and following post orders for an armed assignment.

Minimum Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Licensing Requirements

  • Subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
