Armed Security Officer State Facility

Job Description

Allied Universal is currently hiring a Part Time Armed Security Officer for a State Site on Martha's Vineyard, MA. The position is scheduled Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 8 AM - 6 PM. The starting pay is $23.79 per hour, with paid orientation and training.

Requirements

• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Previous related experience is required.

Skills

• Customer service skills.
• Ability to respond calmly to incidents and disturbances.
• Knowledge of site-specific policies and emergency response activities.
• Ability to conduct regular and random armed patrols.
• Experience with access control and visitor management.
• Communication skills to interact with supervisors, law enforcement, and emergency personnel.
