About the role

Allied Universal is currently hiring a part-time Armed Security Officer for a government site in Chelsea, MA, scheduled for Saturday and Sunday nights from 11 PM to 7 AM. The starting pay is $25.32 per hour, with paid orientation and training.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site-specific protocols and reporting procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by site.

Requirements

  • A Concealed Carry Weapons Permit is required.
  • Pepper Spray Certification is preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
  • An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
