Job Description
Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Part Time Security Officer for a State Site in Danvers MA Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 8 AM - 6 PM Starting Pay is $25.88 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training Candidates Must Have a Concealed Carry Permit and 1+ Years of Security Experience
What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, traffic-related concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and public agency contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned facilities, roadways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, screen for unauthorized entry, and verify credentials, permits, and/or vehicle access requirements in accordance with post orders and site procedures.
- Support emergency and public assistance efforts by providing directions, reporting hazards or suspicious activity, and coordinating with law enforcement, first responders, and/or authorized personnel when needed.
Minimum Requirements
- Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
