Armed Security Officer - Response Patrol

About the role

As an Armed Security Officer - Patrol Response in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will provide a visible presence at a retail location, conduct routine patrols, and help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and Level III Armed Guard Card. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and support a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and care.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, receiving areas, parking lots, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity involving customers, employees, vendors, deliveries, and contractors; report unusual or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain required documentation, including incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity reports, while handling issued equipment in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Guard Card in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay & Schedule

• Position Type: Full Time
• Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour
• Schedule: DayTime: Wed 10:00 AM - 05:00 PM; Thur 07:00 AM - 02:30 PM; Fri, Sat, Sun 05:00 PM - 11:30 PM
