Armed Security Officer Patrol Full Time

About the Role

As an Armed Patrol Driver Full Time in Windsor, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Government. In this role at a government corrections location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and respond to security-related concerns. This driving position requires strong communication and customer service while supporting a professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or individuals in custody by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a correctional environment.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, housing areas, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access and movement through designated entry points, verify authorization as required, and report suspicious activity or policy violations.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, communicate relevant information to site personnel and/or responding law enforcement, and operate assigned equipment in accordance with post orders.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of experience in armed security-related roles, law enforcement, or military service.
• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Armed guard card or license is preferred.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$21.50 / Hour

Schedule

• Tuesday: 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM
• Friday: 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM
• Saturday: 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM
