As an Armed Security Officer Part Time Shop Center Patrol in Temple, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Security Officer, you will patrol a retail location, helping to maintain a welcoming and secure environment for customers, employees, and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and Level III Armed Certification. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail areas, parking lots, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and coordinating with appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Maintain required documentation, including patrol logs, incident reports, and daily activity reports, while handling assigned equipment in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Schedule: Day Time, Monday 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Wednesday 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM
