Armed Security Officer - Shopping Center Patrol

About the role

As a Part-Time Security Officer, you will support people first through teamwork, integrity, and a reliable approach while responding to security-related concerns with professionalism and care.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a visible armed presence.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas for unusual activity, and document observations, incidents, and/or policy violations according to site requirements.
• Work with site leadership, employees, and/or local responders during emergencies, investigations, and other security-related events.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Security License in Texas only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Participation in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
