Armed Security Officer - Shopping Center

About the Role

As a Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol in Corsicana, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol professional at a busy retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local law enforcement when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support access control, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior or security-related concerns.
• Assist with de-escalation, crowd management, and asset protection support during busy business periods, special events, and/or emergency situations while following post orders and Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
