How this role works

• Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour
• Daytime Thursday: 04:00 PM – 11:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, employees, vendors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, receiving areas, parking lots, and perimeter locations, as assigned.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following site procedures and applicable laws.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter theft, trespassing, disorderly conduct, and other unauthorized activity.
• Prepare accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Security License is required in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
