Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, parking facilities, access points, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report unusual conditions, hazards, or policy violations to site leadership.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrols, and other security‑related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Requirements

• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver‑policy requirements.
• Texas Level III Armed Certification.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Armed guard card or license (preferred).
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Qualified applicants with criminal histories will be considered consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participation in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment per state and/or local regulations.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
