Security Officer Armed Medical Center
About the role
Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter incidents, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or members of the public by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public agencies as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and high-traffic locations while verifying credentials, controlling access, and reporting unusual conditions according to post instructions.
- Support Allied Universal and site leadership with routine reports, incident notes, and other security-related duties as assigned based on the location and operational needs.
Requirements
- Possess an armed guard card is required.
- Have at least 1 year of armed related, corrections, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
