About the role

As an Armed Security Officer - Hospital Patrol on the overnight shift in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in healthcare settings. This is an armed and driving post, offering the chance to support people while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical-related calls for assistance, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism in an armed post.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and sensitive areas, verify credentials when required, and document security-related incidents, observations, and/or daily activities according to site procedures.
• Work collaboratively with site personnel, first responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership during emergencies, alarms, investigations, and other security-related events.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Supervisory experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$21.63 / hour

• Thursday: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Friday: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Saturday: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
