Position Type: Full Time. As a Security Officer Hospital Access Control in Highlands, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Healthcare Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol hospital areas, helping to maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Responsibilities include routine patrols, access control, incident response, assisting with behavioral situations, and supporting morgue-related procedures. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication while working with a caring, agile, reliable, innovative team that acts with integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations involving patients, visitors, staff, and healthcare operations.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Assist with access control, visitor management, and direction-giving while maintaining a professional and courteous presence.
