Security Officer - Hospital Patrol- Overnight Shift

Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Professional - Unarmed. The Security Professional will conduct unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrol (interior and/or exterior) in a hospital environment. Additional duties include control access and egress; monitor CCTV and alarm systems; compose reports; deter criminal activity and misconduct.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or first responders when needed
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and/or conditions that may require attention
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening processes, badge checks, and/or directional support in accordance with site procedures and healthcare location protocols
• Document observed activity, incidents, and/or policy-related concerns through detailed reports and communicate relevant information to supervisors, staff, and/or emergency personnel as appropriate

Requirements

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience
• Must meet hospital vaccine requirements
• Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue
• Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting
• Must have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only

• Schedule: Day Time - Thursday 08:00 PM – 08:00 AM, Friday 08:00 PM – 08:00 AM, Saturday 08:00 PM – 08:00 AM
