Security Officer Armed Hospital Overnight Patrol

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol in Butler, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed professional in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and sensitive areas, document security-related incidents and observations, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Support a professional environment by assisting with de-escalation, following reporting protocols, and remaining prepared for changing conditions across the location.
Requirements
- Act 235 qualification is required for positions in Pennsylvania only.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
