Job Description

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol in Butler, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including hallways, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing visitor activity, verifying credentials when required, and reporting unusual behavior or conditions.
• Support a professional healthcare environment by assisting with wayfinding, de-escalating tense situations, and communicating with staff regarding security-related issues and/or site needs.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
