Security Officer Overnight Hospital Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Henderson, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry points, verifying authorized access as directed, and providing directions or information to patients and visitors.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
