Armed Security Officer Hospital Full Time Mornings

About the role

As an Armed Patrol Driver Security Officer in Fishersville, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as healthcare. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. This role requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, access points, and surrounding property to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas and verify credentials or authorization in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.

Requirements

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license (required for driving positions).
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Participation in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with access control and badge systems.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience.

Pay

$21.22 per hour.

• Thursday: 06:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• Friday: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Saturday: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sunday: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
