As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Part Time in Fishersville, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to supervisors and/or local responders when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including entrances, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter grounds, to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may need attention.
- Monitor assigned areas for unauthorized access, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns, and document security-related observations, incidents, and daily activities according to post procedures.
- Support a professional environment by assisting with de-escalation, providing directions, and helping to deter disruptive behavior while interacting respectfully with patients, visitors, and/or personnel.
Minimum Requirements
- Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Pep-spray certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
