About the role

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication while working with integrity and teamwork in a dynamic, collaborative workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
  • Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and assistance, and report access concerns or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
  • Prepare accurate activity and incident reports and communicate observations, concerns, and/or requests for assistance to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Access control and badge experience.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
  • Customer service experience.
  • CPR certification.

Pay

$17.51 / hour

Schedule

  • Thursday: 12:00 PM - 06:00 PM
  • Friday: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
  • Saturday: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
  • Sunday: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
