Security Officer Unarmed Hospital Full Time Mornings

About the role

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver to serve and safeguard clients in Fishersville, VA, in a healthcare setting. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management in accordance with site-specific procedures
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel as needed
• Document observations, incidents, and completed activities through clear and accurate reports

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ years of age for armed roles)
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• A valid driver's license is required
• A guard card or license is preferred
• Customer service experience is preferred
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs. is preferred
• Access control or badge experience is preferred
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

Schedule

• Position Type: Full Time
• Daytime schedule: Thursday 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM, Friday 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Saturday 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Sunday 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
