About the role

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, support badge and entry procedures, and help maintain awareness of restricted areas and after-hours activity.
• Document incidents, observations, and routine activities accurately and promptly, and communicate with Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts regarding security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
