About the role
As an Armed Security Officer for a clinic in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in healthcare and other industries. This part-time role allows you to build a flexible schedule and explore new opportunities using our Claim a Shift platform. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner while following established reporting protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, directing individuals to appropriate areas as needed.
- Document observations, incidents, and unusual activity accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
Requirements
- Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$22.00 / hour
Schedule
- Thursday: 04:00 PM - 08:00 PM
- Friday: 04:00 PM - 09:00 PM
- Sunday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
