Armed Security Officer - Health Clinic Patrol

About the role

As a Armed Security Officer - Health Clinic Patrol in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence consistent with post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, and visitors while documenting unusual activity, incidents, and/or policy violations.
• Support emergency and medical-related response efforts by communicating with site contacts, public personnel, and/or first responders as appropriate to the situation.

Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
