About the role
As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Documentation in Everett, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and use computer or tablet tools as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, healthcare facility policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity in accordance with site requirements, reporting unusual conditions to site leadership and/or emergency services as appropriate.
- Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain required activity logs while communicating professionally with Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.
Minimum Requirements
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
