As an Armed Security Officer supporting a high-profile aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to site needs. You will use strong communication and customer service skills while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity and delivers through teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, controlled areas, parking locations, and perimeter boundaries to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and document security-related incidents, unusual conditions, and patrol activities in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain assigned equipment and firearms in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific procedures.

Requirements

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications

• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Pay Rate: $27.32 / Hour
• Position Type: Part Time
• Job Schedule: DayTime — Mon 05:00 AM - 11:30 AM, Tue 11:30 AM - 06:00 PM, Fri 05:00 AM - 11:30 AM
