Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will conduct routine patrols, drive through assigned areas, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This role blends armed presence, customer service, and clear communication in a team-oriented environment guided by agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, vehicles, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols, helping to support controlled entry at the location.
• Support emergency preparedness activities by assisting with evacuations, directing traffic flow, and coordinating with site contacts and/or first responders when needed.

Requirements

• Possess 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $27.32 / Hour
• Position Type: Part Time
• Schedule: Daytime, Thursday 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Friday 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
