Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
- Monitor access control points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and help to enforce site rules regarding entry, restricted areas, and prohibited items.
- Support emergency and evacuation protocols, assist with preliminary incident assessments, and communicate clearly with local responders and/or site personnel when situations require additional assistance.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
