Armed Security Officer - Security Clearance Required

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, production areas, restricted zones, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or badges, and support access control procedures for employees, contractors, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
• Assist with security-related screening, inspections, and reporting involving sensitive property, equipment, and/or materials, while following post orders and Allied Universal standards.

Requirements

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Level III Armed Guard Card is required in Texas only.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
