Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech location as an armed patrol officer, helping to monitor assigned areas through routine patrols, a visible presence, and strong communication. In this role, you will support a professional environment by responding to security-related concerns and delivering customer service with integrity. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including preparing clear and timely reports for site leadership and/or public responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, offices, exterior areas, parking locations, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and document visitor, vendor, and/or contractor activity in accordance with site access protocols for a technology-focused location.
• Support the protection of sensitive equipment, infrastructure, and/or restricted areas by observing site activity, reporting concerns, and following post orders and escalation procedures.

Requirements

• Possess an Armed Guard Card and/or License.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Pepper Spray Certification is preferred.
• Handcuffing Certification is preferred.

Pay Rate: $27.31 / Hour
