About the role
As an Armed Patrol Driver with a required DoD Secret Clearance in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as aerospace and defense. This part-time role combines customer service, clear communication, and integrity while supporting critical operations. You can build a flexible schedule and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and contractor entry requirements in accordance with site-specific protocols.
- Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation, and communicate observations to site leadership.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of security-related experience.
- 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license and compliance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
- Participation in industry-specific security training programs.
Pay
$27.32 per hour.
Schedule
- Wednesday: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
- Friday: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
