Armed Security Officer - Clearance Required

As a Security Officer Armed Perimeter Driver Clearance Required in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. This is a full-time position with a pay rate of $27.32 per hour, and the schedule is as follows: Monday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Tuesday 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Wednesday 11:30 AM - 06:00 PM, Thursday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, and Friday 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and report irregularities according to site-specific procedures.
- Maintain required reports, activity logs, and incident documentation, and communicate observations promptly to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
Requirements
- Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or hold a college degree.
- Hold an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Hold a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. A drug screen may be required to the extent permitted by law.
