As an Armed Security Officer on Bellaire Blvd in Houston, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Schedule

Day: Thursday
Time: 02:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, stockrooms, parking lots, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders.
• Monitor for security-related concerns such as suspicious activity, unauthorized access, theft-related incidents, hazards, and policy violations, and promptly report observations through required channels.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, and coordinate with site management, law enforcement, and emergency responders when appropriate.

Requirements

• 21+ Years of Age
• Active Armed Guard Card/License
• Valid Driver's License
• 3+ Years' Combined Law Enforcement/Corrections/Military OR 5+ Years Armed Security Experience

Qualifications

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
