About the role

As an Armed Security Officer - Holmes Rd in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Retail/Malls and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, parking lots, loading areas, and perimeter locations, while remaining alert for unusual activity and helping to deter theft and unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain required documentation, including patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity records, in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Requirements

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

• Saturday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sunday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
