Security Officer - Armed

About the role

We are hiring Armed Flex Guards for our TWIC site in Cameron, LA (55 miles south of Lake Charles). This is a flex role requiring open availability to work any 12-hour shift (AM or PM). Pay is $25.00 per hour, paid weekly.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.

Requirements

• 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• 5 years of experience in security or a TWIC environment, or a minimum of 1 year in armed security, military, or law enforcement.
• Experience in security surveillance.
• Active TWIC card in hand (no receipts).
• Ability to pass background and drug screen.
• Reliable transportation (location is remote).
• Able to work 12-hour shifts and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work outdoors (site is 100% outdoors).
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Pay
