As a Security Officer Armed Full Time Patrol Driver Overnights in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Shelter, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a shelter location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment through professional communication and customer service. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and service providers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals entering or leaving the shelter location in accordance with established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, conflicts, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the property, including common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain awareness of the location, report unusual conditions or maintenance concerns, and coordinate with site leadership and emergency responders when appropriate.

Requirements

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Have at least three years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least five years of armed security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
