About the role
As an Armed Security Overnight Officer - Patrol Driver in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Financial Institutions. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking facilities, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and report suspicious persons, vehicles, packages, or activities according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
- Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting requirements.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
- Possess a 40 caliber endorsement.
- Possess a California weapons permit with a 9mm caliber endorsement.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

- Thursday: 12:00 AM - 08:30 AM
- Saturday: 12:00 AM - 08:30 AM
